VW launches the car that consumes only 1 liter/100 km

Volkswagen has prepared for the Geneva Motor Show a car that consumes only 0.9 liters per 100 kilometers. The concept model XL1, will be officially launched next month in Geneva, and will be produced at its plant in Osnabruck, Germany.

The german car manufacturer will bring out a car market that promises a consumption of less than 1 litre/100 km with an autonomy of 50 miles with zero emissionsand with a low weight (795 kg) and a good aerodynamics.

With these features, the new Volkswagen XL1 can run at a constant speed of 100 km\/h using only 6.2 Kw/ 8.4 HP. The 100% electric, XL1 needs only 0.1 kWh to 1 km. City car has 3,888 mm in length, width and 1,665 mm 1.153 mm height only.

  Hybrid propulsion system is composed of a TDI engine 48 horsepower and an electrical unit that delivers 27 horsepower. Power is transmitted through a DSG gearboxes with seven reports. Citadina with two seats is able to achieve a top speed of 160 km\/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 mph in 12.7 seconds.

 Volkswagen XL1 will debut officially at the Geneva Motor Show, which will take place in March. There have been no reports of trading prices

Veneno, the latest creation of Lamborghini!

Lamborghini Veneno is the last work of art of the Italians. Built to celebrate 50 years of history, the hipercar cost not less than 3 million, without fees, will be produced in only 3 copies

The Geneva Motor Show was the best opportunity for Lamborghini to bring to light over the new Veneno. Produced to celebrate the 50 years of existence, the supercar keeps the tradition in terms of nomenclature.

Aggressive by definition, the new Lambo Veneno is put in motion by a 6.5-liter V12 engine that delivers 750 horsepower. The car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, while top speed is 355 km\/h.

Lamborghini has announced that Veneno cost 3 million euros without taxes,but it seems that all three units have already been reserved.

Veneno has been one of the fastest in the history of bullfighting bulls. The name became popular in 1914, when he fatally injured on Jose Sanchez Rodriguez Toreador in Sanlucar de Barrameda arena, Andalusia, Spain.

VW recall in service over 380,000 cars

Volkswagen recall in service over 384.000 vehicle selled in China to fix a fault in the DSG transmission. This problem could cost the german group more than 600 million dollars.

Volkswagen Group has initiated a recall action record, nearly 385,000 cars following the return in service, after the German company engineers have discovered, with the help of the Chinese authorities, a problem at the level of the speed.

Affected by the recall campaign in service are versions with DSG automatic transmission with seven gears of several models such as the Golf, Scirocco, Bora, Touran, Passat, Octavia and Audi A3 constructed between 2008 and March 2013.

According to technical analysis, the cars could be affected by a loss of power during acceleration. According to Automotive News, quoting a specialist of the company LMC Automotive recall will cost the Germans from Volkswagen more than 450 million euros, costs per car ranging between 3,000 and 10,000 yuan (350-1200 euros). Components-speed faults will be replaced free of charge.

VW, the biggest european car manufacturer, shipped last year 2.8 million vehicles on the Chinese market, up 25% over the previous year, the production of 2.6 million units in China. Operating profit in 2012 in this country is 3.7 billion euros.

Dacia Logan with 400 horsepower

The Lamborghini SUV will be launched in 2016

Frankly I'm a real fan of VW so I've waited with much enthusiasm the new appearance of the Golf from Volkswagen.

On 26.02.13 the guys from Volkswagen have release the first official pictures of the new Golf 7



The new Golf GTI model 7 has a turbocharged gasoline direct injection that manages to reach the 220 horsepower.

As a surprise the guys from Volkswagen have also prepared us an more "furios" version of Golf 7 named  "GTI Performance" that will have 230 horsepower.

The new Golf 7 GTI will reach 100 km\/h in 6.5 seconds and top speed is 256 km/h and the GTI Performance variant will reach 100 km\/h in 6.4 seconds and the top speed is 250 km\/h.

As a consumer the VW promise us an average consumption 6L/100 km and CO2 emissions of 139 g\/km, So if  the guys promises are true then the new VW Golf 7 will consume about 20 percent less than his previous Golf  6.

The starting price is approx 28 500 euros and will be available fot buying starting from March in Germany.
