Volkswagen is preparing a Golf GTI with 503 hp

Volkswagen has prepared for the Worthersee event a Golf GTI with no less than 503 horsepower. Unfortunately, the Germans did not intend to introduce in series production, since this is an exhibit that will remain at the concept stage.

Vision Design Volkswagen GTI developed the prototype surprise car home edition 2013 Worthersee Festival. The model is equipped with a 3.0 V6 twin-turbo engine that produces 503 hp. The engine was developed to be associated with MQB platform. Despite this, the unit will not ever get to equip a production version of the Golf GTI athlete.

Twin-turbo V6 might be offered even Macan Turbo Porsche's offer, but the rumors have not been confirmed by officials of the German group.

Compared to a standard GTI, power increased by 129%, almost twice the torque, enough to push the concept from 0 to 100 km / h in only 3.9 seconds. Maximum torque of 560 Nm is delivered between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm. Power is transmitted through the DSG Special Unete, whose specifications have not been disclosed.

Although Volkswagen currently has just published a series of sketches, the design seems to be very aggressive.
