Four new models have received 5-star Euro NCAP

The latest tests conducted by Euro NCAP have revealed a maximum score for four new models. It's about Skoda Octavia, Toyota Auris, Avensis and electric Renault Zoe model.

As a result of recent tests conducted by Euro NCAP, the new Skoda Octavia, Toyota Auris, Avensis and electric model Zoe Renault have received five stars. The best average in the four categories of testing (adults, children, Pedestrians and security systems) has joined the Czech model, with 95% score in terms of Passengers adults and 86% in terms of child passenger safety.

Even more, Skoda has received recognition for the Organization and for the proposal of a new four safety systems in the list of options to the Czech model  (Front Assistant, Lane Assistant, Collision Brake and Protect Crew Assistant).

On the onthe hand the new Toyota Auris and RVA4 have also obtained the maximum score. The Toyota Auris has received 92 percent of the total possible points in the category of Passengers adults and 84% of Children Passengers. On the other side, as the chapters and Support systems for Pedestrians, he recorded 68% and 66% of the possible points.

This time and the RAV4 was noted with a maximum score, the SUV, reaching 89% from category Adult Passenger, 82% in Passengers, 66% in pedestrian Protection and 66% in the category of Assistance Systems

In the test session was involved and electric Renault Zoe citadina. The French model has also received five stars, confirming once again that electric vehicles meet safety standards. Thus, zero-emission car received 89% of the maximum score chapter adults, 80 percent in children, 66% to 85% for pedestrians and assistance Systems offered.
