Volkswagen continues to expand the range of Golf 6, despite the fact
that the new Golf 7 celebrates half a year after its launch. Scheduled
to debut at the Geneva Motor Show, the new Golf R Convertible is the
most powerful convertible version of the model and is an extension of
the offer Golf 6.
Volkswagen will launch at the Geneva Motor Show the new Golf R
Convertible. The car is the fastest Golf cabrio version ever built and
the first version of Golf R convertible.
Even if it had been expected that the new car to be built on the basis
of the new Golf 7,the new car has a design elements like the older
Golf 6 , this way she is becoming a new extension to the sixth generation.
In terms of design, the car is designed
to confer an aggressive air : Talladega wheels with 18-inch diameter, aggressive front and back spoilers, R teva tailpipes, black housings for rearview mirrors and black etreiere.
On the inside, continue personalizing with sport seats, steering wheel
with three spokes, stainless steel pedals and decorative plates with R
logo.
Motive power is the same engine found on the Golf R, namely the FSI of
2.0 litres, able to develop 265 horsepower. The unit is coupled to a six
SPEED DSG automatic transmission, which allows the model to accelerate
from 0 to 100 in 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h.
