Dacia entered the Denmark market

Dacia continues to expand and enter on the Denmark market . The  car manufactured in Pitesti has chosen to begin with the model Lodgy, which is offered at a base price of 17,441 euros, due to the existing high taxes.

After Ireland and Britain, Dacia targeting customers in Denmark. Launching the brand had occurred with the onset monocab Lodgy, not Sandero and Duster as happened in the other state. The company has not explained his choice in a press release issued.

Since the first event type OPEN, Dacia managed to gather 4,200 visitors, who have tested the Romanian and have already made orders for it. Of these, 51 have placed firm orders for the new Lodgy.

Danish market, the basic version of Dacia Lodgy, equipped with a 90 hp 1.6 MPI engine, starts at 129,990 crowns, which is equivalent to 17.440 euros. The price difference between Romania and Denmark, almost 8,000 euros, not included in the accounts of the Renault Group but lies with the Danish state, which collects high taxes on the purchase of new cars, increasing their price by 50%.
