Dacia has increased its market share in the UK

Dacia has increased its market share in the UK at 0.52% in the first four months, from 0.33% at the end of the first quarter. Car manufacturer fails to 3,994 cars registered in this period, thus placing it ranked 20th of 38 brands, according to Society of Automobile Manufacturers and Traders in the country, announced Tuesday.

Dacia sold 3,994 cars in the first four months, managing to increase its market share from 0.52% in the first four months, from 0.33% at the end of the first quarter. In March, the UK Dacia registrations reached 2,016 cars and Dacia's market share was 1.23% compared to 0.42% in March.

Dacia has officially launched sales in the UK in January, but the British could preorder Duster since the end of June last year. Duster is available in three trim levels - Access, Ambiance and Laureate - the choice between engines of 1.6 liter petrol and 1.5 liter dieel.

From January Sandero is available, offered at a starting price of only 5,995 pounds.

Across the UK market, registrations increased by 8.9% in the first four months, to 768,555 vehicles, and in April were up 14.8% to 163,337 units, contrary to the downward trend of other large European countries such as Germany, France , Italy and Spain.

In April, the British market selling models were the Ford Fiesta, Opel Corsa and Ford Focus.
