Kia has prepared for the Geneva Motor Show a lot of news. On
the list of first appearing as athletes pro_cee'd models GT and GT
cee'd, Kia Carens new and improved version of Optima Hybrid model.
New performance models pro_cee'd GT and GT cee'd will make its
world debut on March 5, on the occasion of the 83rd edition of the
International Motor Show in Geneva. In addition, Kia will
present a concept sports city, and surprises in the booth manufacturer
Carens will be filled with new and upgraded version of the Optima Hybrid
model.
The two Kia cee'd pro_cee'd GT and GT have an athletic figure and has
daytime running lights with LED technology, double end trim exhaust
system, 18-inch alloy wheels and calipers painted red.
Under the hood will meet drive and turbocharged 1.6-liter gasoline
(GDI), which produces a maximum power of 204 hp and maximum torque of
265 Nm, delivered to the front axle. Manual transmission with six reports, and sprint from 0 to 100 km / h is done in 7.7 seconds for both models.
New
Kia Carens is a compact MPV which will be available with either five or
seven seats and will provide an important list of safety equipment. When
will be available on sale in Europe in a few months, customers can
choose from four engine versions will be available and will produce
maximum power from 115 hp and 166 hp, while the values of CO ₂ range
from 124 g / km.
Kia Optima Hybrid is the first European D segment that offers a hybrid propulsion system (based on a spark ignition engine). Scheme is a parallel and consists of a heat engine 2-liter petrol and an electric motor which develops 30 kW traction.
The upgraded version for 2013 Optima Hybrid provides a total maximum power of 190 hp. Maximum speed that can be achieved is 192 km / h while acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h will be made in 9.4 seconds.
Also during the Geneva International Auto Show, Kia will unveil to the public and a concept. It is a sports study, which will keep the current brand identity of the company, but will present a new interpretation.
