A few days ago, the MINI Countryman with the 250,000 number left the assembly line in Graz (Austria). This result was achieved in only two and a half years after the start of production.
MINI Countryman is the first in more than 50 years of company history
that has four doors, a large tailgate, up to five seats and a trunk to
use variable whose volume varies between 350 and 1170 liters. Also, the first MINI that may have optional all wheel drive system ALL4.
Currently, ALL4 can be ordered as an option for the MINI Countryman
Cooper S (135 kW/184 hp), MINI Countryman Cooper SD (105 kW/143 hp) and
MINI Cooper D Countryman (82 kW/112 hp). The scale
performance was a remarkable ability for MINI John Cooper Works Countryman
version, which has standard traction on all 4 wheels.
Front-wheel drive versions have engines of 90 kW/122 hp (MINI Cooper
Countryman), 72 kW/98 hp (MINI One Countryman) and 66 kW/90 hp (MINI One
D Countryman). All versions - except MINI One D Countryman -
may be equipped with six-speed automatic transmission as an alternative
to the standard manual gearbox with six reports.
