Hyundai impresses at “home” in Seoul by launching a luxury sports concept. Its name: HND-9.

Hyundai has released the first two images of concept HND-9, a luxury coupe prototype, which represents the first attempt of the South Korean auto manufacturer to build such a car. Specially developed to be presented at at Seoul Motor Show, the prototype tries to continue the Fluidic Sculpture design line, started by Hyundai on the series models since the release of ix35, but bringing it into an yet unexplored area for the Asian bran.

Under the hood, the Hyundai concept comes with a classic engine,engineers ignoring the eco line on which auto manufacturers rely lately. It’s about a turbocharged, petrol, GDI technology engine, that has 370 horsepower from a 3.3 liters displacement. The transmission is automatic, with eight gears.
