Lamborghini is transforming the Sesto Elemento concept into a series version. The supercar will be produced in only 20 units and it could cost no less than one and a half million euros.
The Sesto Elemento prototype, presented almost three years ago in Paris, will be introduced in series production. The Sant’Agata Bolognese auto plant will produce the exclusivist model in the very small number of 20 units.
The ”excessive” use of carbon fiber on this model promises a weight/power ratio of 1.75 kg/hp.
The propulsion will be handeled by a V10 engine that can produce 570 horsepower. Under this configuration, the future Sesto Elemento will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 2.5 seconds and will reach a top speed of 320 km/h.
Each model will be built at the new Lamborghini center, specially created to transform the prototypes into pre-series versions, therefore guaranteeing a high level of quality and performance, each detail being treated with maximum atention.
At the design chapter, the series Sesto
Elemento won’t be different from the concept unvelied in 2010, at the Paris Auto Show. The interior showuld remain the same, the chairs being built form carbon fiber.
Although there isn’t a launch date for the series version momentarily, The Geneva Auto Show should represent a good oportunity for the Italians.
